Sam Drinkwater popped a 4 year old by Midnight Legend over 9 fences lead by Silver Breese this morning. He jumped well and got his eye in before he goes to gallop and school at Towcester tomorrow morning. We are also taking Cavite Alpha, Proximo and another 4 year old by Oscar to Towcester. James Froggit came to look at my hunter who I want to move on as I simply don't have the time to hunt nor do I want to make the time, he's going to take him for half a day tomorrow and hopefully they'll be well suited - they're very similar in character!
Sholto and I went to rugby training as he won the action man for dodge ball. We are very spoilt at Stow as the under 6's have a great coach who really connects with the kids and makes it great fun for them. The afternoon was spent cleaning the flat roof on our cottage before evening stables.
Sam rode a winner at Towcester this afternoon for Andy Martin who's a local farrier. I am really pleased for Sam as he rides well and works very hard. I am just going to ring the P2P entries secartary for next weekend to make sure she has received my entries. Harris and Silver Breese will head to Tweseldown.
