Thankfully we seem to have got through the day without any serious drama. I picked up our young horse from the vets after lunch and he is fine.
I put some tack on the Generous filly and she didn't seem phased by it at all, I expect we'll be riding her by the end of next week. Tomorrow we'll have to ride out the horses that are working at Towcester on Monday so my extra hour in bed will be sacrificed. Once we've got the horses out I'll be heading to Stow RFC with Sholto for his under 6 training session. We have missed the last 4-5 weeks due to frost and racing. He's a natural and we've kept up his ball handling skills in the kitchen - Sophie loves us!
The England v Wales match today was great - apart from the result. I think it was the most exciting game I've seen England play for sometime and there appears to be some really good young lads in the side. For me it all went wrong when Matt Stevens was pinged for "hands in the ruck" he choose to ignore the referees warning which was really annoying. Wales converted the penalty to draw the scores level before scoring a good try. I don't think either side deserved to lose really.
I watched Nacarat win at Kempton, he loves the track and I am sure he's another horse with a great following.
