Noel Meade will train Virtuoso Rouge for Gigginstown next season. Noel also has Aviddius Cassius, a horse we sold him in 2012. He has always loved him and had in entered for a bumper around Christmas time before he got a minor set back. He told me he thought so much of the horse that he decided not to rush him back and gave him the year off. The time will have done him no harm and I'm looking forward to seeing him back on the racecourse. Lets hope he thinks as much of Virtuoso Rouge when he gets him up for the season, I'd imagine and hope he's in a big green field by now. The sale produced fantastic results and trade was strong. The stores will be hard to buy and I think we are potentially facing a shortage of horses.
More rain today, de ja vu I feel. I had a sit on the Fruits of Love horse this morning and was happy enough with him. He is possibly an early type and I may try and run him as a 3 year old. Only time will tell if he'll be up for it. All the others went for quiet canters or carried on in the school. The dentist was here and treated 3 horses.
