2nd May 2013

Trouble Digger is fine after his poor performance yesterday, we will look for some safe ground possibly Bangor and fit some blinkers on him. I can't think of any other reason for him to have ran so poorly. He hasn't left a oat in months and is working very well at home.

We had a routine morning, Alice was in a daze after Charles Bruce winning yesterday. Certainly, forgivable considering what they achieved yesterday.

Two horses belonging to Shirley Bailey arrived, a 3 year old by Shantou and a 4 year old by Heron Island. Both of them have been fiddled about with, we will pretty much start the pair from the begining proggessing in their own time. Ben Case will train them.

Tim Curtis took Sophie out for lunch to raise a glass to Billy Biscuit, Billy has a couple of entries in the coming week. It was very spoiling and a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

Tom Campbell popped in this evening to do a few routine vaccinations.
