Beckhani and Midnight Legend 4 year old did some routine cantering. I would ideally like to get another piece of work into Beckhani before he runs but am fearful of the weather forecast. I'm told that the likelihood of rain in the next 4 weeks is very slim. I wouldn't want to run him on anything worse than good ground. It maybe that we have to run on Wednesday to get a bit of safe ground. I think i'll ring round a few trainers before I declare and see who plans to run and who doesn't. John Ferguson has a very nice horse in the race that has won its last 2.

I enjoyed the England France match and it was a deserved victory. The English boys seem to have a real go about them and it looks as if they are possibly a team to be reckoned with over the next few years. Tom Croft's try was staggering, for a backrow to have his turn of foot was simply class! I've always rated him as a player and his work rate is huge.

I can't bear the thought of the Welsh getting the grand slam, they often fall at the last and I expect them to do the same again - Choke!!!!!!!
