It certainly seems like October has arrived, a wet, cold and miserable day. We had a busy morning, the farrier was in and shod a good few and Anthony Tory was here doing the teeth on 12 of them. Most horses had routine canters. Connaught Sqaure had a blow in preparation for Towcester on Wednesday. The ground is currently good to firm, good in places. I find that hard to believe with all the rain we have had, as the crow flies we aren't too far away from Towcester. He's in good nick and the vet will be here in the morning to take a precautionary trachea wash.
If the ground is safe Knockhdu will work at Towcester on Thursday.
