Being Monday all the horses had 2 canters, Charlie was in to see his lot. Deep Trouble has returned to his trainer, I shall look forward to watching him run, he is a smashing horse by a Shantou, a sire who is becoming more popular. He too is by Alleged, the same sire as Flemensfirth, with these blood lines they are tricky customers but good racehorses.
I was very saddened to read on the Racing Post App last night of the loss of Jack Bowlby, his father Micheal supplies me with all my haylage and shavings. Jack was only 16 and at Cheltenham college, he had his whole life ahead of him and his death is a tradgey. My thoughts are with his family.
The whole world seems to be heading to Ascot at the weekend to watch Frankel, it really will be a sell out and a fantastic day for racing as a whole.
