Full Shift, Knight of Noir, Trouble Digger, Robin Des Champs, Sargent Thunder and Frankenstorm all worked on the grass. I was pleased with them all. Major Martin, Billy Biscuit and Knockdhu all started to have a light canter again after Saturday. The others had routine canters apart from Max Ward who is still loose schooling when the frost allows.
Glens Boy has returned from having his soft palate done, he went in yesterday. He has previously been hobdayed and under goes a soft palate operation each year. He'll be on the walker for a week, light canters for 2 weeks after and then back into full work.
Tim Easterby is apparently running his horse at Wetherby, I watched him win at Haydock last time and he was impressive. The ground is still soft with heavy patches. I am undecided as whether or not we will travel.
