A busy day with one thing or another. I have just walked in the house at 8.00p.m having left it at 5.30a.m. All horses had routine canters. Schooling was ruined by the frost and it doesn't appear that we will get another chance to school until Saturday.
We have sought many opinions about Knockdhu's injury, it would appear that he has every chance of racing again and the injury should be consider no different than a horse getting a leg. My biggest worry is whether or not he will ever let himself down again after such a bad experience, the pain must have been horrendous. Time is on our side and no decision has to be made today, he will not be racing until next autumn at the earliest and I would say that is very wishful thinking.
