Trouble Digger seems fine after yesterdays exertions.
We made an executive decision this morning and didn't stop for a cup of tea, the rain was forecast for mid morning and we had the guts of the horses ridden before yet more horrendous rain arrived. All horses had routine canters, tomorrow Sam is coming in, Billy Biscuit and Full Shift will school over the fences. Billy Biscuit has an entry at Larkhill next Sunday, we won't decide whether to run until later in the week.
I rang Simon Classie this morning as he is in constant contact with John Kettley, apparently, there is no let up with the rain. No cold fronts on the horizon, I am told until cold fronts appear we can expect nothing to change. Simon told me John Kettley mentioned that we may get a couple of dry days in March!!!
