I am sick of this weather and so are the horses. Apart from the horses all getting soaked everything seems in order. James is doing a great job riding the 3 year olds and we will sit on Robin des Champs and Winged Loved in the stable tomorrow or on Monday. As of Monday lunchtime I am going away with Sophie and the children for 4 days. I am in no rush with either of the horses as they are both lacking confidence and getting it wrong with either of them could be costly. To me this is the most important stage of a racehorses life, we are setting them up for the rest of their lives and rushing them is bad horsemanship.
I have my wish with the Wimbledon final and I expect Federer to wipe the floor with Murray. I know Murray has beaten him before but I watched a fair bit of both semi finals and Federer played as well as I've ever seen him play. Andy Murray has a very attractive girlfriend which he certainly didn't get on looks.
