Cestus, Knockdu and Connaught Square went for 2 steady canters on the grass this morning. Connaught Square needs to settle and the other 2 went for a change of scenery as much as anything. To think we couldn't use the grass all last winter and were having to do fast work on the all weathers, now at the end of July the grass is good to soft!
All the others went on the woodchip or into the school. The babies are progressing well and I am happy with them all. I finished the paddocks parts of which are still very wet. The horses are desperate to get out in them again but they'll have to wait another day or 2.
This afternoon has been spent doing paper work whilst keeping an eye on the golf. Tiger Woods is looking dangerous and very much in control of the ball. He is my favourite golfer, he took golf to another level some years back before his mind got distracted onto other things. I hope he has his personal live back on track and can show the world what a great golfer he really is. He has changed his coach and already won 2 tournaments this year. This evening I will try and control the ball too as I am off for 18 holes once evening stables are done and dusted.
