Proximo ran okay, his jumping wasn't as good as I would have liked and he was greener than I would have imagined at his hurdles. Timmy Murphy wasn't to disappointed with him and said he'd win a novice hurdle. He went on to say that 3 hurdles out he was travelling very well, he rooted that and then started to empty. He landed on all 4 feet jumping the last and that cost him a few lengths. Timmy felt that when he tired he didn't concentrate on what he was doing. I'll work on his jumping and depending on how he comes out of the race we may go again with him in 2 or 3 weeks. He generally takes his race well and is a tough horse. I always feel that Timmy's post race thoughts are honest and very helpful.
Harris has been declared to run at Huntingdon tomorrow, the horses with form are relatively well exposed and as always I fear the 1st time outs more than anything. Alan King and Nicky Henderson have 2 of them. Anything from the big yards always generates respect.
