Proximo has been declared to run at Wincanton on Sunday, it is the 2nd or 3rd time we've had to declare a horse at the 48 hour stage and can now see why trainers kicked off about 48 hour decs. It really isn't ideal.
I took two 3 year olds over to Mary Hambro's this afternoon, she has a beautiful stud farm with gallops etc. The horses will have a few weeks at grass before we get them back with a view to running them in the autumn. They were 2 horses that just couldn't take it this winter and I am sure that giving them the time will pay off in the end.
