7th November 2013

To say we were disappointed with Major Martin would be an understatement. What happened is racing and we will just have to go again. His jumping at home has been very accurate and he'd done plenty of it. Sam said he jumped it big and landed in some loose ground which case him to lose his footing unshipping Sam in doing so.

Intergramher ran a very satisfying race and stuck to her task well. She didn't like the ground which wasn't a great surprise for me, she is by Beat All and rule of thumb they like the road. We will see how she comes out of the race and then decide what we do next, she is 3 and has time on her side.

I am now off to harrow the gallop before preparing departure notes for the yearlings that leave tomorrow. A Danehill Dancer filly belonging to Patrick Milmo arrived today and she will be broken-in before going into training with Harry Dunlop.
