I was up at the usual time of 4.45 a.m. and am only just finishing now - well as soon as I've written this. Supper and bath are calling.
The horse had a quiet day on the woodchip after yesterdays trip to the grass except a couple who need more work.
A group of 4 prospective owners were here at lunchtime to see the set-up and discuss the possibility of sending their horse. It was then back to evening stables before preparing departure notes for 11 yearlings which leave tomorrow. It all takes time and is an essential part of the job.
Intergramher has been made favourite for the bumper at Towcester tomorrow, it can only be the booking of Sam Twiston-Davis which seems a crazy way to form a market, however, they don't have a lot else to go on in these type of races. The rain has fallen all day and the ground will certainly be soft!
