November already, I can't believe where the time goes, won't be long before the overdraft gets a kicking for Christmas presents.
Major Martin, Illicit Illusion, Intergramher and 2 unnamed 3 year olds worked on the grass this morning, one of the unnamed 3 year olds did it very well and is an exciting prospect. Major Martin and Intergramher will both run at Towcester on Thursday, the novice hurdle is competitive as one would expect as for the fillies bumper who knows what's in there. Both horses are well.
Ralph Beckett rang this morning and his yearlings will all start to leave next week, the last of them will be gone by Friday. Some he bought on spec, so if anyone is looking for a yearling in training with Ralph I am sure he'd welcome you along to his invitation only Open Day on 10th November for the yearling parade.
The first of the autumn internationals is on tomorrow England v Australia, it doesn't get much better than that, I could spend ever Saturday watching international rugby. Sholto will watch it besides me and the girls will moan that they want cartoons - I know who will win that argument.
