Billy Biscuit had a light canter and Full Shift jumped 3 fences. Both will be leaving early for Milborne St Andrew in the morning. Richard Mitchell (trainer of Cool Ground) walked the course today and tells me 70% of the course is good ground and 30% is good to soft, the good to soft is from the 2nd last to the last. Sam am I will walk it tomorrow and we will go from there.
Bath thumped Gloucester this afternoon 35 -5, we had a great afternoon and Sholto loved it, he is competitive and knows what winning means, he was unimpressed with the Gloucester performance who appeared to be totally out classed by Bath.
My stomach has been in turmoil for a couple of days now and in fact going to Gloucester Rugby this afternoon was a good distraction. Now I am home the anxiety have set in again. Should I ever lose the anxiety I will pack it all in. Alice is brilliant and gets everything organised. Having Alice helps to take some stress out of race days and gives me a lot less to worry about.
