What an improvement on the weather front, we could have been in a different country this morning when compared to yesterday. The horses are all back out in the paddock getting some freedom and relaxing. Connaught Square and Knockdu breezed along for their last 2 canters this morning, both appear to be in good shape, they will have an away trip on Thursday. I plan to walk our grass gallop tomorrow and it maybe we can work on that.
I have just witnessed the most bizarre thing on Attheraces, a man with a sponge and bucket soaking up water off the track at Folkstone. No one can accuse Folkstone of not going to any lengths to get the go ahead for racing. I havent watched any racing on television for sometime now, Mick Fitzgerald and Matt Chapman still have an amazing ability to fill time talking nonsense, a skill on its own.
