All the horses had routine canters and we loose schooled Ben Case's filly. Once the horses were all ridden and turned out for the day I headed off to Shutford Stud. Shutford Stud is owned by Tim Rootes, Tim send me all his horses before they go into training. Tim also has some mares and produces yearlings with Keith Heart for the sales. Today we had a parade of yearlings destined for Newmarket sales before a fine lunch. The horses looked in great shape and I am sure they will sell well. It is always refreshing to escape for a few hours.
