It has been a productive day, all the horses stayed on the woodchip as the grass is plenty fast enough. I managed to get into my office late morning and spent until evening stables catching up on paper work.
Trouble Digger has gone home to recover from his tendon injury, his half brother by Grape Tree Road came to be broken-in as did a 2 year old filly by Kayf Tara. Tomorrow they will start the process.
Barbury Castle has attracted very good entries and it looks as if there will be some competitive racing. The ground will be a big concern for many and it could end up with small fields.
