Sam schooled Major Martin in the arena this morning, he jumped as we expected and will progress onto the schooling ground next week. Sam was delighted to be back jumping a horse after his accident and assures me he hasn't lost it.
All the other horses are cantering away and taking it well, many have just gone through a growth spurt.
Tomorrow I won't get my extra hour in bed. Max Ward will have to be ridden and horses are arriving from Goffs yearling sale at the crack of dawn. Sholto and I are then heading off to Bristol for a mini rugby tournament.
