All the horses went for quiet hack canters up the all weather apart from Cross Your Fingers who trotted around the school. Alice took Hope's Wishes to Andrew Balding. The plan for her is to run on the flat, I think she could be a lovely little dual purpose horse and would have my doubts about a flat campaign - only time will tell and she's in a good station!
This afternoon after sorting through more paper work I dug all the schooling fences out of long grass, they will be re stuffed this autumn ready for next winter. I'd love to buy some Easy Fix ones that are zero maintenance, before doing so I'd need to sell a few more horses, they aren't cheap, nor to that matter is re-doing them each year.
Tomorrow, I will ride as many as I can before heading off to Devon to Mike Trickey's memorial service.
