Gunner Road, Go Billy Go (Alflora Gelding), Hopstrings, Knight Of Noir, Major Martin, Medieval Gateway, Frankenstorm and Dark Tartan all went to the grass - it was soft! The others had routine canters.
There is more rain forecast and I am still unsure about any runners except Medieval Gateway who will act on the ground. Trouble Digger delivered his buck this morning on the woodchip, we will see how is is tomorrow and Thursday before discussing options regarding Newbury and future races. If he is going to go to the Hunter Chase evening meeting in May I'd want him going there fresh and believe that there is only one more run in him beforehand.
Major Martin has an entry in the bumper at Towcester on Monday and is a likely runner. Sam Twiston Davis will ride.
