Tomorrow I will ride out a few lots starting at 5 a.m before heading up to Doncaster sales. I like to view the horses the day before and then see them again the morning of the sale. Being on the sales ground you pick up lots of snips of information. Some of which you have to take with a pinch of salt others are very useful.
On paper there is about 40 or 50 horses worth seeing, I am sure some of those will get a line straight through them when I see them as individuals. Sometimes one ends up drawn to an individual on looks and the pedigree can go out the window.
