The King's Theatre gelding behaved much better this morning. It was a huge relief for me as James is going on holiday and i'll be taking over the riding duties.
Knockdu and Connaught Square came back in today and they will both be campaigned towards autumn bumpers. Connaught Square would race on fast ground but Knockdu will need a bit of juice in it. No one can predict what the ground will be in September, highly likely to be a bog in September and rock hard in February.
Today I completed the paddocks and the walker had its annual steam clean.
