Illicit Illusion and The Drinkymeister did their final bit of work before Sunday, both horses did it well and I am very much looking forward to them running. Alice will be in charge as I had planned a 3 day break thinking we wouldn't have any runners this weekend. Emma and Sam will be there to help and they are more than capable of managing without me.
I see that Full Shift finished 2nd but am yet to watch the race, apparently, connections are more than happy with the run.
I have just eased off a few of the 4 year olds as they won't want bottomless ground or the ground when it starts drying out. They are on tick over for a fortnight, after which we will see where we are and hopefully start making some plans for a few of them.
