A busy morning with the horses and all seem to be in fine form, Charlie was here bright and early to watch the first 2 lots. Cestus and Connaugt Square will have their first away gallop next week, Timmy Murphy will be in to ride one of them and I'll ride the other. It won't be too serious but you have to start somewhere and the only way to bring them on is to get on with it. Connaught Square will take less work than Cestus and I could see him running towards the end of September.
Great Britain have won 4 golds in 24 hours which is fantastic and they are progressing up the medal table. I'd expect the USA to close the gap on China this coming week as they traditionally dominate the athletics.
